The ASR model is a solid step toward rewarding active governance, and auto-restaking is a smart move for long-term alignment. But at the same time, it risks being gamed by whales who can loop stake-vote-dump cycles, and by dust accounts farming without real participation. A few tweaks like vesting, higher min stake, or lightweight participation checks could go a long way in keeping it fair and impactful. Love the open approach to iteration though. :orange_heart:

It’s that time again!

As you’re reading this, it’s important to understand that ASR is calculated differently this quarter than it has been in the past due to there being no votes. The new calculation is fairly simple. Your ASR is based on the average Jup you’ve kept staked throughout the quarter.

We have taken daily snapshots throughout the quarter, and summarized into average stake.

Simply put, this means that if you’ve staked 1000 Jup the entire quarter, your average is 1000 Jup staked.

Example:

User A staked 10,000 Jup right before the quarter began. After 46 days (half of the quarter) was over, User A unstaked all of his Jup. He is still eligible for ASR, but for less than what he would be if he staked throughout the quarter.

User A has an average stake of 5,000 Jup since he staked his 10,000 Jup for 46 days, which is half of the measured quarter.

Hi there. I have been stacking 618 JUP for more than a year. Still, I’m told “it is likely your daily time-weighted average stake is less than 50 JUP”.
Can someone help me understand what I don’t get, please ?

Could you try disconnecting and reconnecting, or doing a hard refresh? The vote page caching is a bit off.

Try logging out and logging back into your wallet, and make sure you’re using the Jupiter app which displays all your holdings
