# How about a happy medium? Let’s do halving

Most people are upset about who’s getting rewards and who’s not. I’m not against either, my main concern is inflation overall, the amount of tokens being rewarded year over year. I care about the price of the token and I don’t think I’m being selfish at all. The more you give away the less value they have. This affects everyone involved. Please reduce the 700m to 300m or less. Also consider reducing the asr as well. Low inflation promotes gradual growth and not a roller coaster ride of price action

The 30% burn is a good start but only affects FDV. Year over year inflation rate has to be addressed or people who care about money (most people) won’t stay involved. Look at cosmos (atom) as an example, great platform a lot of successful projects build on but no utility for token other than staking with too high of inflation to really reward the stakers. It’s a shame n I don’t want to see that happen here
