I’m onboard although a little sceptical about how much voting power is being allocated. I agree with the comment made on the call that you want people who are aligned to the project to have a voice but this will ultimately take away from the community, if everyone at the top are pushing a certain narrative. Would it not be better to increase their USDC and give JUP as bonuses according to controbutions to growing the pie.

I’m not seeing any specific or measurable targets here relating to growth of the channel or related impact that might have.

I’d put it to you that the channel has stalled in recent months , failing to scale in a manner suitable for WG candidacy.

It’s also disingenuous to say you’ve been working so far with no budget.

Hey Yot0e!

Irish decided to step away to focus on his own projects. It was a personal decision and we fully support him. We’re still great friends and we’re excited to see what he does next. He’s got some awesome plans ahead!

As a large staker in the top 0.5% I’m the opposite.

The way I see it people doing the work should have a meaningful voice.

USDC pays for time but JUP signals long-term commitment and aligns incentives with the DAO’s success.

Remove JUP, and you remove that alignment.

This isn’t about centralising power. It’s about rewarding real contribution with shared responsibility.

If compensation is mostly in USD, the incentive becomes short-term.

But when we work for our bags, we’re not just clocking in and out we’re building with skin in the game.

Hi nice to meet you

First off, I think it’s a bit off to say we’re “failing to scale” when we’ve grown from 0 to 9.25k followers in just 8 months, with a 1-in-3 profile visitor converting to a follower that’s an INSANELY high conversion rate. And we’ve done this while focusing on long-form content, podcasts, and thoughtful threads, not short-form engagement tricks or giveaway farming.

Our audience may be smaller than some other WGs, but it’s highly aligned, engaged, and organically grown. We’ve deliberately avoided giveaways and farming hacks, even though we have seen a WG gain 7K+ followers off a single post speculating on rewards.
With our connection to Jupiter, we could easily do the same but that’s not the foundation we want for our community.

It’s not just an echo chamber, either. We’re plugged into multiple distinct audiences. To illustrate, here’s a quick comparison of follower counts with some of our peers:

  • Jup and Juice: 9.25k followers
  • JUPcadets: 15.9k followers (325 mutuals)
  • Uplink: 47.1k followers (356 mutuals)
  • Jup exchange: 581.8k followers (453 mutuals)

On funding:

We’ve officially received $700 expense budget since the start of our trial, not a complaint, but something we wear with pride. Meow challenged us to build with what we had, and we leaned all the way in.

Our formal trial ran from September 12th to January 12th, and beyond that, we’ve been compensated for our time something we’re transparent about and deeply appreciative of.

There was a short window where we had five team members so the numbers are not linear but even then, 99%+ of funds went directly to contributor time. If you want to count that as “budget,” fair enough, but that’s not the standard, as far as we know.

On growth and impact:

We’re not here to farm views. We’re here to connect the best of the Jupiverse with the best crypto, and build the cultural and narrative layer that supports governance, onboarding, and long-term trust.

You’ll continue to see growth, better production, and stronger content but our impact is already public, ongoing, and measurable in real time.

We didn’t leave Web2 jobs to chase KPIs. We came to build something meaningful. And if at any point the value isn’t clear, I’ll personally surface the numbers but we’re not here to sacrifice soul for short-term metrics, I hope that some what mitigates your concerns
