If the goal was to push Jupiter Mobile, congrats this is probably the most antagonistic way to do it.
If you want adoption, make it optional and add an incentive. Give people a reason to choose it. Don’t put your most loyal users in a position where claiming (what they have already earned) is conditional.
This decision introduces workload, extra risk, and irritation where the process should be frictionless. And it does so in a context where Jupiter is already seen by parts of the community as a “dictatorship” and dismissive of feedback. Not only that, you are doing this against your most loyal users and holders.
ASR has worked great because it never required this kind of trade-off. You participate, and the reward is there. No extra decisions, no second-guessing, no points farming. The only one of its kind in the Jupiter Ecosystem left, where loyalty translates to tangible value. And you guys decided to completely destroy it by this decision.
So the question is simple: why was it worth turning one of the ecosystem’s clearest trust signals into a point of tension? Please can someone from the team explain the logics behind this decision?
If the intent is long-term alignment, there are cleaner paths. Optional adoption with upside works. Forced adoption by holding rightful earned rewards hostage does not.
And finally, if a loyal staker hasn’t adopted Jupiter Mobile despite months of promotion, do you really believe forcing it at the ASR claim stage is what will change their mind?
