  • Guarantees active DAO for at least 1 more year
  • 1 year lock-up of 375mil JUP to claim max JUP from ASR
  1. Why?
  • 3 billion $JUP already being burnt
  • 1 year lock-up of 375mil to 800mil JUP is better than 215mil burnt
  • 200mil being used to improve DAO is better than price increase from being burnt

Nice proposal but i throught the 15,461,850.21 would be used for rewarding the DAO during this first year.

For me, we should be burn this 200M++

Lot of nice things are coming until we reach 7B jup is circulation and we should take every opportunities to burn a bit of supply

Itā€™s amazing that we get to comment all over these proposals. This is the magic of the JUP DAO!

While I want to suggest a burn, I feel I donā€™t have near enough JUP in my bags yet haha. More than that, the process of staking JUP and voting brings great joy. I love being apart of the decision processā€¦and also enjoy small rewards from it. Having ASR continue will entertain more users and give them something to get excited about. I say onward and upward with more ASR in the future!

An excellently crafted proposal; concise, clear and perfectly capturing everything discussed in recent planetary calls, DAO debates, Discord, X, and beyond regarding the direction of the 215M JUP. Personally, after carefully listening, reading, and analyzing all the options, I have made my decision and am ready to cast my vote. Letā€™s proceed with the vote! Iā€™m excited to support Option 1 and encourage everyone to participate, as these pivotal moments define the essence of a DAO. Kudos to @meow and the Jup team for ensuring such an important decision is democratically handled. Itā€™s truly inspiring to see what weā€™re achieving together in the Jup DAO.

I would vote for option 1 cause I love ASR!
One question : what was the initial plan with ASR : ending it after the first year or find funds for more?

So i have a interesring idea why dont you burn the 15 million left over and extend the ASR for a year? I know its not much of a burn but small burns periodically end up being quite substancial?

I will be voting for the extension of the ASR, I feel as if itā€™s a great way to encourage engagement ,active staking and voting in the DAO proposals.
as well as inspire future lfg projects to include incentives to the ASR to there projects

Burning the unclaimed rewards has a lot of benefits to the tokenomics and supply reduction.

This soon into the project i believe that helping the community expand through the ASR is equally if not more important to sustain organic traction for the great moment JUP has, i believe the majority have a long term dedicationā€¦

This is an interesting vote looking forward to see the resultsā€¦

i do agree with the team to use the remaining tokens for ASR, this makes the most sense for further building of the dao and incentivizing those that are actively participating.

my opinion on the remaining tokens (option 1) a burn for the remaining 15 m tokens would not be a bad idea

I prefer option 1 because it rewards members that vote and contribute to the democratization of JUP and indirectly SOL.

*Just to clarifyā€¦

Currently ASR is 50M JUP per quarter.

Assuming 4 quarters, ASR is 200M JUP per annum

10M additional is 5% of 200M

10M/4 is 2.5Mā€¦ to be added to the 50M quarterly

proposed: 52.5M JUP per ASR quarter for 2025

*All of this is based on the assumption that ASR will continue at a rate of 50M JUP per quarter. This may not be the case!
