Seems like they’re doing what they did in terms of ethos in relation to the last drop once again.
Which proved very positive, this was one of the few airdrop related tokens that performed well, and with ASR you’d have got something like 50% APR.
Glad because it means that I can still support the project and remain staked.
Apart from certain people wanting quicker emissions for their little personal stake ponzi, there’s no reason why you’d be disappointed here. You have to acknowledge that if you don’t support this, you never supported the ethos of the first drop either.
If you are a USER you will be rewarded. If you are a staker, you still continue to have ASR rewards.
Glad to hear a more rapid stake ponzi isn’t guaranteed.
And regardless, there’ll be a vote so everyone can see where the DAO stands.

I understand your side but you can’t say ‘loyal stakers’ and then say that they are unstaking just because they wont get even more $JUP just because they vote. They already got like a 45% APY from doing 0 work

I agree. 110 Million Jup for DAO voters is not enough. Thats only 15,7% of Jupuarys 700 Million tokens. Should be at least 30-50% from 700 Million tokens cause DAO is the core of JUP platform and users that are forming the core of the community should be rewarded more than users simply using the platform for making gains by swaps, etc.
First Jupuary was a surprise which rewarded first users with JUP tokens. JUP token main purpose is to be used in DAO. This year is all about DAO. It was crucial in my opinion what people did with their airdrop. Have they sold it for happy meal or other tokens, turning away from DAO and JUP? Or have they been loyal to platform and have locked their tokens inside the DAO to vote? Many sold their airdrop and made a lot of profit from meme season, other trades that outperformed ASR rewards by many times or they sold JUP at 1,70 -1,80$ range in March, April. DAO voters got none of those amazing options, including me, cause I locked all my JUP in DAO.
In my opinion DAO voters need to get more reward from Jupuary cause they are the closest ones to the heart of JUP.

in my point of view - jupuary between stakers is better enticement of new DAO members than giving to the new people and keep their 75% as a hostage. But it is what it is.
If it must be done this way, I am good. 75% penalty or 12 month lock. One choice. No withdraws before 12 months unlock.

I can be loyal and thankfull to the team, but if I don’t like the direction this is taking I have the right to unlock and sell my tokens.
I will buy and stake again whenever I feel the team values the stakers effort.
Why would someone lock JUP tokens for 365 days to be part of ASR ( 200M ) if you can just fake activity with unlocked tokens for jupuary ( 700 M )
The message from the team is clear, farm the protocol instead of staking

The fact that you conflate the ENTIRETY of use of the platform with “farming” as you quite clearly refuse to say “users” tells me you don’t see the platform particularly valuable to begin with.
You want a stake ponzi. If you didn’t, you’d acknowledge that users are the core value proposition of Jupiter (outside of the devs).
Its the DAOs job to maximise the medium and long term value accrued by the project.
If you valued the project, you’d value utilization of the project, not just a higher APR on your stake rewards.

When I first read the announcement I was thinking similar to you but the more I thought about it and listened to the Jup team and ppl on here it’s gotta be spread out more or it will just be us stakers getting rewarded which brings no new ppl other than the product being great and cheap and easy to use. I think it’s worth trying another way and see how ppl react then go from there for the next one. It may bring more new stakers or ppl using Jup more. Long term is my personal outlook here. I also understand how you feel. I recommend thinking more deeply about it. That’s just my honest opinion.

Hi Jupiter Comunity.The Comunity is not just stalkers!Comunity is users of Jupiters instruments of trading facilities provided by the Jupiter exchange!!When Jupiary will end in 2 years the traders will remain and will use the Jupiter platform after!!!but what about the Stakers when the ASR will end ?where they will be?I think they will vanish and never will see them again!!And I see a lot of post of the Stakers when they says that they are the most loyal users ,they are the Pillars of Jupiter!!-what a lie!!i t think the reason stay behind because they want more money !!they r not happy with ASR which gives them 45 percent ASR.!!they want THE Jupiary for themselfs!!Even the team decides to give them 210 million allocation for temporary stackers on airdrop 2025 ,this temporary STAKERS are not happy.It is ridiculous to see how the GREED of this guys take over their minds!!!The loyal comunity of jupiter are the TRADERS WHICH WILL STAY FOREVER!!!they generate income!!They should be properly rewarded!!!But the STAERS comes and go,they don’t use the platform and not generating any income!!i

tbh i think asr will continue for next 2 years at least. We have people that will sell for 25% claim of their jup, leaving 75% to go to community.
Also not everyone will claim their jup, there will be some left over. We also have some in jup community reserve wallet.

The rug pullers are the ones staking 1,2,3…10 Jups, not us, paying hundreds and thousands of dollars in fees.
Bull market, bear market traders will be here. Where the stakers will be after the benefits are going away? Next juicy product

True that stakers are useless for price action, but also they are ones tweeting, talking, promoting and telling friends so they are important part ot Jup brand

These are actually a hand full of people. For sure they should be rewarded for their contribution.
Personally, I thought for sure some stakers will be included in the airdrop regardless of the use of the platform and, I think some of them should be included. However, that’s not my decision.
My problem, with some stakers that raised their opinions here, is they think they are the backbone of the platform. This is simply not true. The backbone of any exchange are the fee payers.
Tomorrow we’ll find out more details about the airdrop, let’s just wait and we’ll see what happens next.
