There may be need to apply a little break on these salaries of a thing plus free jup until its bleeding stops and jup recovers . Timing is critical here. Jup is obviously weak now, we do not need to aggravate this weakness

I am a big fan of catalytics. More can be done to improve this. I think the blind vote shouldn’t apply for catalytics. Regular voters don’t care about this. Data enthusiastic are the ones using catalytics. I want to see past proposals on catalytics. I want to see data from JUP products in terms of usage, volume and fees.

This seems like a reasonable evaluation criteria to me. I would like to see it firmed up into a clear deliverable though.
Something like:
At the end of 3 months we’ll deliver a report on:
- community members trialled (number, results)
- community projects funded (who is behind the project, what it does, what it’s achieved/promises to achieve)
I’m assuming that community project in this instance are strictly developer projects but I’d like that to be made clear in the proposal.
Other than that it’s an overall Yes for me. It’s a solid proposal that addresses a set of legit problems and has a clear set of deliverables it can be evaluated against.

I am fine with the proposal and hope in general that there is a precise controlling set up to track aims. Together we raise the value of jup short, mid, longterm. Its about time to get best people in the dao to move onwards

I am starting to get incredibly mystified about crypto and it’s slavish devotion to X.
X is a increasingly bad product with terrible management.
At this stage you’re the one at fault if you’re basing your social media strategy around it.
Though I think there’s some MAGA cult stuff going on (even as account bans hit ATHs every other month, the recent suppressing of protest accounts in Turkey being yet another chilling example, I still see people gushing about how it’s so great “free speech” is now back on X…)
you need to diversify and quickly.
There’s a massive community in the Discord, a lot of them will follow you wherever you go, so just go somewhere else and start to establish a safer place.
I can highly recommend Fedica as a simple cross posting tool (though there are others) which means you can implement an X strategy alongside Threads, BlueSky, Instagram, etc.. with little hassle.
Possibly an even better long term strategy would be to use something like OpenVibe and implement some decentralised platforms as well (least at a very basic core posts level) i.e., Nostr and Mastodon
But as a developer focused group, I can’t see why you aren’t already running a Warpcast account. It’s very dev heavy and it’s an excellent platform which is far more secure and safe than X.

ofc we are going to show how the goals where achieved.
Who we trial, what the role was, the the output work was etc.
Also showcase the community projects that have been funded and why we decided to fund these.
In case we dont fund any community project (because we will not find one) the money will be returned to the DAO ofc. We are going to spent it somewhere else. Transactions will be transparent as well

Thats a valid point and if our problem doesnt resolve soon we are going to look for alternatives.
At the moment we follow the strategy of the team and the dao and all the official accounts are active on X and most of the people we reach to are also on X.
But you are right, if we find no solution with X we will be forced to look somewhere else

I vote in favor of the proposal to support the enthusiasm and commitment shown, even if I do not fully agree with the approach. I hope I do not come across as arrogant but I believe that something unique and more inclusive can be done for the community, like the game project that I imagined and proposed shortly on the blockchain, which could unite and enhance everyone, involving not only the best. (I am in favor)
