Intro:
Five weeks already, time flies when you’re working on something that genuinely excites you.
Has the hypothesis we started with proven itself? Not yet, but that’s expected. Five weeks (with three more to go) is too short a window for firm conclusions. Still, meaningful progress is visible.
We’d love to give you a glimpse into what we’ve been building, and hear your thoughts.
Team Leads: Mic & Marja
Date Range: April 9 - June 3
Mission
The Grant & Talent Support (GTS) initiative exists to make the Jupiter grant process radically more accessible.
Our mission is to reduce friction, guide talented individuals through every step of the grant journey, and ensure no cat is left behind.
Key Accomplishments (First 5 Weeks)

Total Submissions: 45
-
11 artists

8 developers
-
7 community event hosts
-
6 influencers
-
14 idea-driven entries

-
Establishes a repeatable model for agile talent matching.

We’ve provided in-depth, real-time support to 29 unique individuals.

-
Feedback and assistance span both public and private channels, ensuring participants are seen, heard, and guided.
Community Trust & Visibility
-
Consistently active in Jupiter chats and DMs to ensure same-day responses, removing blockers and giving cats confidence.
-
Positive sentiment: Feedback has been overwhelmingly supportive, with public recognition of GTS’ value from both participants and observers.
Social Growth
-
346 followers on X (on track toward our 8-week goal of 500)
-
While below our personal ambition, this represents solid progress.
Challenges & Adjustments
- Discoverability Gaps
- Tools and forms still need broader distribution. Channels like the Jupresearch forum and Reddit remain underused.
- Social Traction
- Growth slowed briefly during Mic being away with family, but is now rebounding with consistent posting and strategic partnerships.
- Team Transition
-
One member stepped down. We absorbed the responsibilities without affecting delivery.
-
Unused funds were transparently returned to GTS.
Next 3-Week Plan
-
Push Sambino’s grant to vote and document the journey.
-
Launch Round 2 of Pounce On It with a fresh grant prompt.
-
Surpass 500 followers on X and improve engagement.
-
Drive Curious Catalogue to 100+ total entries.
-
Achieve a total of 3 successful grants passed with GTS support.
-
Expand visibility across forums and socials to improve talent funnel.
Final Thoughts
In just five weeks, GTS has gone from idea to a visible, trusted support layer in Jupiter’s grant ecosystem. From rapid response times to community matchmaking, we’re proud of the systems we’ve built, and even more excited about what’s ahead.
The systems are humming. Momentum is building.
Our resolve? Stronger than ever: no cat left behind.
