Yes from me. Great proposal

120 mil makes sense for now. Going forward, as Solana and Jupiter grows, it would make sense to switch to a percentage based voting strategy.

Setting it to 30% will work for the long term, and ensure we do not have to visit this topic again because it would keep adjusting itself to match the influx.

As participation grows and contracts with the market, I think a fixed cap may not always be what we want. Imagine a major crash and less than 120m jup is posted - do we have a way out?

30% of total staked is dynamic and allows for some wiggle room for growth or contraction.

Option 2 seems like the perfect approach since it serves as a checker for the actual amount of peeps still committed to the DAO and truly reflects the consensus at the time for any given vote. Option 1 could be easily achieved given previous voting stats but I think option 2 is still better as it reflects the DAO’s growth (+/-) at the time of the vote. A quarterly review of the quorum would also be great, leaving room for experimentation.

Option 2 all the way. LFG🚀

I believe a 30% of total JUP staked would be perfect for quorum. It would make the process automated & also include a good chunk of the DAO for governance.

Love the idea of a sliding quorum scale.

Is 30% good enough to say that quorum has been reached?

Nice proposal @Slorg … While I support Option 2, which sets a dynamic quorum threshold based on the amount of staked $JUP at the time of each vote, I believe that a threshold of 30% may be insufficient to truly capture the DAO’s consensus. To better reflect the collective will of our community, I propose raising the required quorum to over 50% of total staked $JUP at the time of voting. This higher threshold would ensure that votes are representative and align more closely with the interests of majority of stakeholders.

Thank you @Slorg for keeping it real and incorporating DAO’s feedback on the proposal to include a percentage option.

@Mbolorman Thank you for speaking for the DAO and ensuring our voices are heard, as they should be in any Decentralized governance models.

I hereby support the opinion of this quorum vote proposals and to my own knowledge and opinion I would say the option of extending to 120k befits or maybe basically 30% of the total jup staked at that moment should be taken into consideration… because why not, the ASR EXTENSION VOTE already made it known that the dao has more eyes on it and the ASR has brought to the Jupiter more hand on deck than peoples imagination :four_leaf_clover:🩵

Thinking this will be a fun vote but basically a very important one

In my mind it makes sense to call a certain percentage. That way we don’t have to revisit this topic again in order to change a fixed number.

%50+1 of stake when the vote goes live = majority

My thoughts are leaning towards the 30% of the total staked jup as it will no longer be am issue for us to revisit as the dao expands. It seems like a fair percentage and I don’t feel there will be an issue achieving the quorum!!

Nice proposal!
Buh I think Increasing the quorum to 120 million votes would be the best since JUP DAO is growing day by day.

I vote for 30% seen to be more dinamic when power vote increase (decrease). Anyway, 30% is a short number, maybe 40% of quorum should be better, we are asking about “quorum” not votes to win any proposal, dont?

i dont know but "Peg the Quorum to 30%~ of Staked JUP, right before each vote. " are more long term to me
