INTRODUCTION

Since the Year of the Cat 0 ended, Jupiter Exchange has been growing super fast. It’s packed with all sorts of product releases and alignment. This led to the team’s idea of developing regional initiatives or country-specific language initiatives. From October 2024 to February 2025, we’ve been volunteering to bring PPP to the community, helping Jupiter Exchange open up opportunities for market penetration in Indonesia.

As of March 2025, we successfully received a grant from JUP DAO through Superteam Earn and began building our team and launching our initiatives from March until June 2025.

With the conclusion of our grant, we are proud to share the outcomes of our work and the impact we’ve made.

PROBLEMS & CHALLENGES

  • Indonesia, with nearly 285 million people and a super high global crypto adoption rate (ranked 3rd globally and 1st in DeFi users), faces a few big issues: below-average English skills, decent financial literacy, and a lack of clarity or knowledge on maintaining and growing their crypto portfolios securely.
  • Jupiverse is experiencing rapid growth, but local communities in many provinces and districts remain inactive, with a significant portion of the population still untouched by WEB3 and crypto technologies.

SOLUTION

Jup Indonesia will prioritize education to drive Web3 and crypto mass adoption with these steps:

  • Education in Indonesian:
    We’ll roll out community programs with easy-to-follow webinars and learning materials that help Indonesians learn English while also getting introduced to Web3, crypto, and Jupiter’s products.
  • Crypto Literacy and Security Education:
    We’ll roll out online and offline sessions to improve crypto financial literacy and security awareness. By analyzing past cases and real incidents, we’ll help the community recognize risks and take steps to safeguard their assets.
  • Local Community Empowerment:
    We’ll collaborate with local contributors and organizations across provinces and cities to build and empower local community groups. These contributors will lead grassroots education efforts centered around Jupiverse PPP, emphasizing the Player Pump Player spirit, a collaborative culture where community members support each other to grow and thrive together.

PROGRAMS

  • Education: Provide educational classes, content, and dedicated support through Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp groups to guide Indonesian community members in understanding Jupiter, the Jupiverse, and Web3.

  • Social Media: Actively maintained our presence on X, providing daily updates and promotions about Jupiter and Jupiverse. As of June 2025, the account has grown to 5,425 followers. In addition to X, we are also expanding our presence on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to reach a broader audience and engage with the community across multiple platforms.

  • Creative: Consistently produce and share Jupiter and Jupiverse-related content (memes, illustrations, 3D visuals, flyers, posters, and videos) daily. The goal is to attract audiences, entertain, and educate the community in a fun and engaging way.

TEAM

Our team is actively contributing to the growth of the Jupiverse across various areas. Core Team works directly with other members of the JUP community and leads the development and execution of key programs. The Supporting Team contributes by assisting core members with their respective areas of expertise.

WHAT WE’VE ACCOMPLISHED

COMMUNITIES (Total: 2,577 members )

  1. JUP Indonesia Community in Telegram - 301 members
  2. JUP Indonesia PPP Class in Telegram - 659 members
  3. JUP Indonesia Classes - 1617 members

Each class is broadcasted on X and YouTube, attracting 200-500 viewers. The average daily activity of members across all channels is between 50-100 people.

  1. Liquidity Provider (LP Class), every Thursday
    Participants : 871 members in the WhatsApp group
    Learn basic to intermediate LP strategies with Andrew, providing a money-making alternative in the crypto space that does not involve active trading. This group is a support system with one ultimate goal: to steadily 10x your fund in 5 years.

  2. English Course for intermediate level users, every Monday
    Participants : 66 members in the WhatsApp group
    Improve English skills to better navigate the Jupiverse, avoid scams in crypto, and land a Web3 job, with Sabit.

  3. WEB3 Content Creator & Jupiter Products Class, every Wednesday
    Participants : 622 members in the WhatsApp group
    Learn about content creation on X, Superteam bounties, and InfoFi strategies, with Andrew.

  4. JUP Local Contributor Class
    Participants : 58 members in the WhatsApp group
    Assist local contributors with Superteam event grant applications. Provide support for event handling, such as creating rundowns, finding speakers, and managing promotion.

EVENTS

X ACCOUNT GROWTH

Over the past three months, we achieved 753.3K impressions, 5.2K replies, 12.5K likes, and 2.5K reposts. One of the strategies was to become a good reply guy.

COLLABORATION

Jupiter Indonesia is involved in several collaborations within the Jupiverse community, such as being part of Jup Merch, and creating a JUP Indonesia calendar with JupSync.

FUTURE PLAN

Although our grant officially concluded in June, our team continues to actively work on our programs with the shared goal of further expanding the Jupiverse. We remain dedicated and hopeful as we await the next steps for the Regional Initiatives.

Going forward, we are going to:

  1. Be the best Defi Community in Indonesia. Make Indonesian feels JUP as Home.
  2. Create retention tool to calculate on-chain activities measurement
  3. Onboarding hundreds to the Jupiverse monthly via offline activities, including bimonthly events in Indonesia.
  4. Enhance the attractiveness of our online classes to expand our reach throughout Indonesia.
  5. Develop localized Jupiter product guides (Video and articles), including e-books and web documentation.
  6. Create a composable visual repository that can be used by JUP contributors all over Indonesia.
  7. Prepare for Indonesian JUPFluencers
  8. Grow beyond “Crypto Twitter Bubble” by being active on Youtube, TikTok, IG, FB, app reviews, and collaborating with other communities
  9. Create some Stickers, Pfp, Tutorial Contents, 3D and Motion Graphics for JUP Indonesia.
