Reward Calculation Example

For a Tier 2 user with:

  • $1,500 monthly spend

  • 1,00 JUP staked

  • Chose to receive 5% cashback in USDC,Sol, BTC, JLP

THANK YOU AND MABUHAY!!! :folded_hands:

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and one concern that keeps coming up is KYC. If a DEX debit card requires KYC for security purposes, the real question is: will people actually be willing to share their personal information on a DEX?

Great proposal from the Jupiter community. We’ve been building card infrastructure specifically for protocols like Jupiter, and our stack could accelerate this entire initiative by months.

The Jupiter Card - with Brahma

A Jupiter credit card that lets users tap into their onchain positions without ever leaving the Jupiter ecosystem, spending directly from JLP balances and staked SOL or on Jup Lend that remain productive onchain.

No idle balances, no manual top-ups or conversions. Automated access to yield, credit, and liquidity through a single card.

Launch with a progressive integration roadmap, bringing Jupiter protocol flows onto the card experience one by one.

Two Core Modes: Making Jupiter Solana’s Onchain Bank

Borrow Mode: Onchain Credit for Real-World Spending

  • Users deposit productive assets (SOL, BTC, JLP) into Jupiter Lend as collateral

  • Card swipes trigger just-in-time borrowing up to 95% LTV on their native Jupliter Lend position.

  • Every transaction boosts Jupiter Lend revenue through borrowing fees

  • Assets remain productive (SOL staking, BTC appreciation) while providing everyday spending power

Earn Mode: Jupiter Lend as Onchain Checking Account

  • Users deposit stablecoins (USDC, USDT) directly into Jupiter Lend earning positions

  • Funds earn yield continuously until the exact moment of card spending

  • Card withdrawals happen just-in-time from yielding positions

  • No idle balances - every dollar earns until it’s spent

Contract-Level Integration vs Traditional Cards Unlike traditional crypto cards that require manual top-ups and idle balances, Brahma integrates directly at the smart contract level. This makes Jupiter Lend the core infrastructure for onchain banking with real-world utility.

Example: Coffee Purchase

Borrow Mode Flow:

  1. User swipes Jupiter Card for $5 coffee

  2. Brahma checks Jupiter Lend position health

  3. Auto-borrows $5 USDC against JupSOL collateral

  4. SOL position continues earning staking rewards

  5. Settlement completes, loan recorded in Jupiter Lend

Earn Mode Flow:

  1. User swipes Jupiter Card for $5 coffee

  2. Brahma withdraws $5 from USDC earning position in Jupiter Lend

  3. Remaining balance continues earning yield uninterrupted

  4. No borrowing, no interest - direct spend from productive balance

The Jupiter Card Advantage

A single card integrating Jupiter stack via Brahma’s orchestration layer. Brahma handles the complex orchestration, Jupiter focuses on user experience.

High frequency user touchpoint: Users hold SOL, JUP, and JLP on Jupiter lend or keep on Earn and the card becomes their daily financial interface. Each transaction strengthens the connection between users and Jupiter protocol (swapping, lending, staking), fully abstracted from the user.

Protocol-native loyalty: The card becomes the primary touchpoint for user engagement. Jupiter rewards accumulate naturally through daily usage, creating behavior patterns with onchain positions that traditional cards can’t replicate.

Deep Jupiter Integration:

  • Direct JLP spending: Card pulls liquidity directly from JLP positions without requiring withdrawals

  • SOL staking integration: Spend against staked Jup SOL collateral while maintaining validator rewards

  • Jup Lend connectivity: Real-time borrowing against Jupiter lending positions

  • Multi-protocol routing: Card automatically routes through Jupiter’s infrastructure for optimal rates

Technical Architecture

Just-in-Time Settlement: No need of top up, directly issue a card with current user wallets and integrate with their positions.

Transaction Hooks: Every card transaction can trigger automated Jupiter actions:

  • Auto-compound JLP rewards on each purchase

  • Auto buy your favourite token on every spend

Example Flow: Coffee Purchase

  1. User swipes Jupiter Card for $5 coffee

  2. Brahma infrastructure receives authorization request

  3. Checks onchain policy (spending allowed, sufficient JLP collateral)

  4. Validates JUP staking tier for cashback rate

  5. Executes Jupiter lending borrow against JLP position

  6. Settles $5 to merchant, credits cashback in JUP tokens

  7. Updates onchain spending allowance and position tracking

The entire flow happens in seconds, with full onchain visibility and Jupiter protocol integration.

Integration: Whitelabel Flow

Ready to Deploy: Our ConsoleKit Cards infrastructure is production-ready and can integrate with Jupiter within weeks.

Full Control: Jupiter owns the user interface, user experience, and issuer relationships end-to-end. Brahma provides the orchestration infrastructure.

Time to Market: 1-2 months (mainly onboarding compliance)

Strategic Value for Jupiter Ecosystem

Increased TVL and Stickiness: Cards incentivize larger, longer-term deposits in Jupiter Lend and JLP pools. Users are less likely to withdraw productive assets when they can spend directly from positions.

Revenue Multiplication: Every card swipe generates multiple revenue streams - lending fees, DEX routing fees, and card interchange. This diversifies Jupiter beyond pure trading volume.

Competitive Differentiation: No other protocol offers cards to directly spend from native protocol positions in noncustodial way. This becomes Jupiter’s unique value proposition in an increasingly crowded DEX market.

User Expansion: Brings Jupiter to mainstream users who want crypto utility without DeFi complexity. Cards provide the familiar interface while accessing advanced money market infrastructure.

Open Protocol Integration: Solana Ecosystem Cards

Composable Rewards System: Any Solana protocol can integrate with Jupiter Cards to offer native rewards and cashbacks. Protocols can provide boosted cashback rates for their users via Jup Lend.

Ecosystem Network Effects: Every integrated protocol strengthens the entire Solana DeFi ecosystem. Users get better rates, protocols get stickier users, and Jupiter becomes the central coordination layer.

This creates a flywheel where Jupiter Cards become the unified interface for all Solana DeFi, while individual protocols can offer differentiated rewards to attract users to their specific products.

Ready to Build

We’ve already deployed this infrastructure for protocols on Base, Hyperliquid, and other chains. The Jupiter integration would be our first major Solana deployment, leveraging the network’s speed advantages for real-time settlement.

Onchain Hooks: Card as DeFi Automation Trigger

Every swipe can trigger Jupiter ecosystem actions:

  • Auto-Investment: Cashback automatically buys JLP tokens

  • Yield Compounding: Large purchases trigger Jupiter Lend reward harvesting

  • Governance Participation: Earned rewards auto-stake as JUP for voting power

Example: Buy coffee ($5) → Auto-borrow against JLP → Trigger JLP reward compound → Cashback buys more JUP tokens

Technical Architecture

Sub-300ms Settlement: Card networks timeout in 1.5 seconds. We deliver authorization in ~300ms while executing full Jupiter Lend workflows.

Policy-Controlled Spending: Cards enforce onchain rules in real-time. Set spending limits tied to Jupiter Lend health ratios or JUP staking tiers.

Deep Jupiter Integration:

  • Jupiter Lend: Real-time borrowing at 95% LTV against any supported collateral

  • JLP Access: Direct liquidity from $2B+ JLP pool earning 14.5% APY

  • DEX Routing: Optimal asset conversion via Jupiter aggregator

  • JupSOL Integration: Maintain SOL staking rewards while accessing spending power

Strategic Value: Jupiter as Solana’s Onchain Bank

Revenue Multiplication:

  • Jupiter Lend: Increased borrowing volume from card-driven credit demand

  • DEX Aggregator: More swap volume from card settlement and automation

  • JLP Pool: Enhanced liquidity from automated compounding

  • Card Interchange: New revenue stream from real-world transactions

True Onchain Banking: Unlike traditional crypto cards that convert crypto → fiat → spend, Jupiter Cards make every purchase a native DeFi transaction within Jupiter’s ecosystem.

Sticky Capital: When users can spend directly from productive positions, they keep larger balances in Jupiter protocols, creating sustainable TVL growth.

Ready to Deploy

Time to Market: 1-2 months (mainly issuer onboarding compliance) Engineering Cost Saving: Equivalent of 2 backend engineers + 1 devops engineer for 6+ months

We handle payment authorization, collateral management, Jupiter protocol integration, and policy enforcement. Jupiter focuses on user experience and tokenomics.
