Rewarding staking is always an important part of a tokens utility but it does not reward participation in the community. I propose wallet verification in the jup discussion board to enhance rewards distribution.
With the growth of the Jupiter token there has been a lot of conflicting approaches to distribution of token rewards. Although I do believe stakers should be rewarded a fair amount of tokens during distribution periods I think activity within the community is not. Rewards to traders is a positive but it over rewards bots and wash trading within the platforms. I love how all products are rewarded but I do not see how the discussion board can earn rewards without a wallet verification. This process can be as simple as copying your wallet address into your profile or even an on chain verification approval.
Not only can we reward replies and new posts but we can reward how many times your post is viewed or even liked.
The goal of this is to make stakers become active members within the community as there is a large portion of users that stake and forget it. Although this approach is acceptable and useful it would make people less likely to dump there distributions if holders were active and rewarded by stake weight plus participation.
Jupiter already has the most active board on Solana the next step is to increase activity and participation. With the great work moderators are doing they should also be rewarded by how much work they put in. The more posts that have to be viewed and accepted for post the more a moderator can earn. The goal is to help everyone involved in the community and to stop dumping of the token after distribution.
All ideas are welcome and appreciated. Hopefully we can find ways to become the most active community in all of crypto.
