Currently, the unstake period is considered too long and ends up discouraging part of the community from keeping their tokens locked.
Reducing the unstake period to 14 days would be a strategic move to encourage more users to stake and maintain their tokens, increasing engagement and strengthening long-term commitment to the protocol.
This change would make staking more attractive, expanding the base of active holders and reinforcing the real utility of the token within the Jupiter ecosystem.

The unstake period is going to be set to 7 DAYS, effective in couple of weeks. It has been revealed by @Kash on the last Planetary Call that occurred yesterday, 15th of Oct 2025.
This move definitely stirs things up in a good way, Iām most definitely eager to see what the next chapter for $JUP unfolds.

The decision has already been made. They concluded it will take 7 days.
Great idea, hopefully if the team looks into this but they made their decision to 7 days with valid reasons
