Gamification to Increase Investors Adoption and Retention

Hi there, I am a Sr Solutions Architect in the Product Management space.

I wanted to share an idea that most customers are adopting in the field. That is using gamification as a way to get customers closer to the platform in terms of adoption and retention.

In the case of Jup Studio, you have various tokens that are related to each other, offering more than one opportunity for cross overs. Think of Uranus, Mabe, Upright, Cattie, Bubbles and more.

Imagine to launch a game in 2D, nothing necessarily fancy at the beginning, where the user can choose to impersonate a character (e.g. Mabe, Cattie, Bubblehead, or more) and to drive them on a mission to reach Uranus. On the way there, the character goes through various levels and has to overcome multiple enemies through means of “Upright” equipment (e.g. Upright spacesuit, Upright jetpack with various unlockable upgrades, and more). Imagine something along the lines of Jetpack Joyride, for instance.

The more levels a user completes, the more coins they are granted. The coins could be the macro Jup Studio one, for example. Coins are released and awarded in small quantities, of course. You can then have a built-in dashboard with top players of the month or something similar.

I understand that this may take some time, but it would be a strategic move to make. Jup’s strength over other platforms out there is that there is some sort of coherent and cohesive narrative bringing various different characters/coins together: Space. You should use that to your advantage.

This would create more hype, excitement, ensure that users come back to play the game, so that they can stack and collect coins to reinvest in the Jup ecosystem and so on. Look into companies like Gamindo, for instance. They are already using gamification as a marketing tool. You have the possibilities to develop this, in house.

Thank you!
