Uplink Yearly Report
We all know how much you all value transparency and communication in the Jupiverse. In the spirit of C.A.T (Certainty, Alignment, Transparency), and as our first year of operations comes to an end, we’d like to share everything we’ve been able to accomplish. But first, we’d like to recap Uplink’s core mission.
One Year of Arming the Missionaries
Jupiter is redefining the future of finance. And we’ll need millions more users and community members to get there.
The Jupiter team has not had a marketing department; that’s where we come in, that’s where you come in. The core team stays shipping. For the past year, it has been our job to spotlight new product updates and major initiatives from the team and DAO as they are released to the broader community. To achieve this, we attract and develop talented creators and amplify their voices in the Jupiverse.
We call this approach Arming the Missionaries.
Who Are We?
We are Jupiter’s Uplink Working Group — the content arm of Jupiter Exchange.
We specialize in product marketing and spotlighting major feature updates. We push the Jupiter gospel across many channels. Some examples include:
-
Explaining Jupiter products, meming with the best of them, and amplifying new JUP DAO initiatives on Twitter
-
Producing Informational videos and aiding in the production of Planetary Calls on Jupiter Exchange’s YouTube Channel
-
Deepening the community’s culture through artwork on DRiP
-
Empowering community members and kickstarting the network effect on major announcements through Uplink Sponsored Bounties
-
Empowering content creators and facilitating decentralized marketing efforts via Uplink Grants
-
Onboarding in-person through Solana events like Solana Aggregate

Here is the overview of everything we’ve done over the past year.

Now, let’s dive deeper into each of our initiatives:
Jupiter Exchange YouTube Channel
YouTube is one of the most effective platforms for learning more about anything from the ground up. As new folks get more curious about crypto, they will seek out more trusted sources for their research. This is where we come in, with an army of content to meet them where they are.
We cover a variety of topics. We have made videos about:
-
The basics of using Jupiter and Solana
-
How users can find lost money using Jupiter portfolio
-
Complex topics like Jupnet (but made easy for the folks at home)
-
Everything under the sun that is new and interesting in crypto
This year, our content has gone through a growth cycle. Started from the bottom (0 subscribers literally), just “trying to create cool videos”. We focused on creating top-of-funnel, community-first content, with engaging hooks and sharp editing. Approaching a modest 23,000 subscribers after one year.
Here’s the growth we’ve been able to achieve:
-
Total Views: 1,572,797
-
New Subscribers gained: 22,700+
-
Watchtime: 100,000+ hours
To put that in perspective…
You could’ve watched the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe over 1,400 times. (And still have time for lunch) -
Long form content pieces: 425 videos
-
Short form content pieces: 234 videos
-
Planetary Call + JUP Rallies hosted: 59 Live Streams
Uplink handles the entire process, from ideation to production, editing, and uploading the final videos. For example, we recently worked with Erbil from Huma Finance to record and publish a proposal walkthrough directly on the Huma DAO proposal voting page.
Uplink Twitter
Our Twitter page is the go-to source for updates on Jupiter’s evolving product suite. We are terminally online, ready to ship at any minute.
The broad scope of our Twitter distinguishes it from niche-focused accounts (Jupiter Updates, Creator Spaces, Content Workshops). This makes it indispensable for anyone seeking a holistic view of Jupiter. And we love to create the memes
**
We’ve been able to gain 49,300+ followers within 10 months. Moreover, we’ve generated over 35 million impressions on crypto Twitter with the following engagements:
-
Total Likes: 600,000+
-
Total Retweets on Uplink content: 65,000+
-
Comments received: 130,000+
-
Number of Bookmarks: 21,000+
Growing a Twitter account is not just posting memes all day; we’ve tried and tested many Twitter initiatives. Some of our favorite ones include:
-
Spaces: Routinely discuss key new initiatives with the Community
-
Jupiverse Community on X: Initiating and Moderating the Jupiter narratives on CT
-
JUP Mobile Badges Initiative: Supported the early growth of the JUP Mobile Twitter account and kick-started the JUP mobile badges initiative
-
Intern Chat: Solana-based interns aggregated in one place to facilitate collaborations
-
JUP Junkies: Focused group chat with high-agency creators to unite their voices
-
Broad Jupiter content supplementation (AKA ghostwriting for the Jupiter main Twitter page)
We are focusing on community growth and engagement, pushing PPP all day. But we’re also making the Jupiverse a fun place where people laugh and smile.
Current output: We post 8-10 tweets on average daily, 7 days a week, keeping the Jupiverse one of the most engaging communities in Web3.
Onboard. Engage. Retain. That’s our mission!
Satellite Grant Program
“Decentralization is not a lack of leaders; it is an abundance of them” - Kash Dhanda. With this spirit, we’ve activated a wide range of creators to act as Jupiter Satellite Creators - helping to distribute the key narratives the team/DAO wants to get out into the world.
The grants program has been a cornerstone of the value Uplink brings to Jupiter Exchange. We amassed 15M+ Twitter Views just using Satellite Content. We empower creators to produce Jupiter-focused, high-impact content, ranging from Linny’s IRL onboarding to Marino’s deep-dive threads. This year itself, we have given out $150,000+ to Jupiter creators.
Beyond funding content, this program acts as a top-of-funnel creator recruitment engine. It attracts emerging talent and helps shape them into long-term, loyal contributors.
-
A prime example is NFT Muse, who grew her account from 300 to 20,000 followers under Uplink’s mentorship. She is now a trusted participant in the Jupiverse and a member of the Uplink team.
-
Another example is Doctor Preballin, who was able to create banger songs that we all love for the Jupiter Spotify Page and compelling music videos on the Jupiter Exchange YouTube Channel. (ain’t no PVP, I’m preaching PPP)
We’ve helped creators craft content that supports Jupiter’s Mission of turning the universe into the Jupiverse. This includes:
-
Short-form explainers
-
Long-form tutorials
-
Street interviews
-
Product demo streams
-
AI-powered videos
-
Animated edits
-
JUP commercials
-
Solana event vlogs
-
Original music through JUP Records.
DRiP
DRiP is our creative bridge between Jupiter and the wider art-appreciating community, using high-quality AI video and static image drops to spark culture and build loyalty through storytelling.
We have been able to:
-
Amass 230,000 followers in an 8-month period
-
160,000 NFT claims
-
Generated a revenue of $69,000 (nice coincidence)
-
Given out over $40,000 to loyal community members
- The revenue from DRiP that we kept was used to support more creators through our grants system.
Why do we need a DRiP page, though?
Well, having a dedicated Jupiter DRiP page provides a direct method for inviting the ongoing community via cultural and monetary incentives. We host bi-monthly NFT drops with USDC and JUP rewards to the top 50 contributors. And ngl, our artwork is beautiful. Created specially for the Jupiverse by the Legendary artist Gossip Goblin.
Bounties
How it started vs How it’s going
One of our foundational beliefs from last year was that “Centralized marketing cannot work in a decentralized world. Instead, the right approach is to involve the community at every step: narrative creation, content creation, and message distribution.” We called this approach; Community Powered Comms.
Bounties are the best at kick-starting the network effect. When a major announcement from the Jupiter team drops, it kickstarts the messaging and streamlines the communication to the broader networks of crypto Twitter.
Our bounty program also serves as a talent acquisition mechanism similar to the grant system. We’ve seen casual bounty hunters evolve into celebrated community leaders, such as our own Will McFletcher and IRL onboarding king, DukeTHAGreat.
As DukeTHAGreat said, “There was no exact manual or guide as to how to contribute to the Jupiverse, so when I saw Uplink bounties centered around JUP stuff, I took it as an avenue to contribute.”
Duke is now the Head of Ecosystem Growth, Jupiter Africa.
We said that if we do our job well, anyone will have a chance and a reason to make content. There is no barrier to contributing to the bounties, and it is open to everyone who can create content around the defined bounty ask.
Over the past year, we’ve empowered many creators from across the community to step up as Jupiter Satellites.
-
Total Twitter views of Satellite Content:
-
Total Bounties: 21
-
Total Views of Bounty-produced content: 827,659
-
Total Content-Pieces created: 1658+
-
Total Workshops hosted to upskill the community: 12
Onboarding the Next 10000 IRL
Crypto’s biggest barrier isn’t tech, it’s communication.
Most content is complex and jargon-filled. Thus, to bring folks from web2 to web3, we need real-world, accessible content that makes onboarding feel natural, fun, and useful.
One of our most-loved content forms is onboarding content that creatively encourages newcomers to download JUP Mobile and start their crypto journey. We’ve used every opportunity we got to leverage this content form:
-
Crypto Events: Catstanbul, Solana Crossroads, Madrid Conference, and Solana Accelerate in NYC
-
Gamified Challenges: With reward QR codes or Universal Send links
-
Daily Onboarding Series: 30 people onboarded in 30 days via Universal Send
Impact So Far:
20 videos published, 516,400+ impressions, 200+ people onboarded, 70 street interviews (non-crypto), 120 event-based pieces of content.
Jupiter Mobile makes onboarding simple, fast, and human. Now it’s time to scale it.
We believe documenting, creating content, further developing connections, and facilitating help in areas that the team cannot cover is a huge value add.
Side Missions
Being a Working Group means doing everything in your power to grow the Jupiverse. Whether it is your core initiative or not. Over the past year, we have been able to contribute in several instances outside of just being the Content Mafia. Here’s a recap:
-
Intern Cabal Chat: We created a group chat of top Crypto Twitter Interns. This includes Solana, Moonpay, Zeus, Metaplex, Huma Finance, NubCat, TON Blockchain, and many more.
-
Marketing Channel: We helped facilitate a Jupiter marketing telegram channel to aid in decentralized content distribution.
- Uplink, CWG, and Vibhu made an effort to encourage more Jupiter content from relevant product updates and releases. Providing a place on Telegram that gives a breakdown of the release and provides visual assets to leverage in creating content. (JUP Marketing Telegram Channel)
-
Facilitated getting Bonk Founder Nom on Jup & Juice
-
Jupiter Creators Directory: A directory of the community’s best-in-class creators to be used by anyone when planning to spotlight new Jupiter-based initiatives.
-
Workshops: Periodic content workshops hosted by Cloudz in Discord
Accountability
Let’s talk about accountability. Apart from this report you’re reading:
-
We post Monthly Reports on X detailing key metrics for each initiative, outlining what Uplink brings to the table
-
We also compile a Grantee Evaluation Document every quarter to be sent to Kash, and will continue to do so
-
Going forward, we will post External Quarterly Reports on key initiatives, highlighting areas of excellence and acknowledging areas of improvement
Weekly updates during CWG Office Hours in Discord were also a point of emphasis for us to keep the community involved in everything we are working on at that time.
Moving forward, for every event we attend, we plan to compile a post-event write-up and evaluation to post on JUP Discussion (aka “JUP Research”). Example: JUP x NYC Post Event Write Up.
Team Behind the Content Mafia
We are grateful to our Grantees, Bounty Stars, DRiP colectoors, the legendary Gossip Goblin, and all the other Work Groups that we collaborated with over the year. We are also deeply indebted to our Meow, Kash, Siong, and the rest of the Jupiter Team for their efforts in helping us every step of the way.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Kash, Srijani, and Seb Montgomery, who didn’t finish the year with Uplink, but we couldn’t have gotten where we did without them.
Yours Gratefully,
- The Jupiter Uplink Working Group
What’s next? Uplink will continue to be funded by the Jupiter Exchange team for the next year.
